Crisis Management

Effective management and resolution of crises directly impacts the reputation of any institution. The News & Research staff is an important component of the university’s emergency response management team that quickly assembles to address actual and potential threats involving everything from hurricanes to fires to criminal or even terrorist incidents. The staff provides strategic, proactive communications advice and counsel to university management, including developing and disseminating public information to external and internal audiences during crises.
