Mascots have started to surface again, with controversy. Different people of this land are objecting to the use of Native American mascots and it’s in the news again. We Seminoles down in Florida have no qualms with other Indian people objecting to the use of mascots that may insult Native Americans. Read the full story at the Seminole Tribune.
Tribe passes resolution

Florida State University President T.K. Wetherell recently received a resolution supporting FSU's use of the "Seminole" name when he became the first FSU president to be invited to a meeting of the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Tribal Council, the tribe's chief governing body. Read the full article.
