WETHERELL TO ADDRESS FACULTY AT ANNUAL FALL MEETING

Florida State University President T.K. Wetherell will discuss the state of the university at the 2008 Fall Meeting of the General Faculty on Thursday, Oct. 30. Also at the meeting, the FSU Faculty Senate will honor three distinguished individuals with Torch Awards for their contributions to FSU’s excellence. In addition, the university will officially unveil bronze busts of the six Nobel laureates who have been members of the faculty. The artists in FSU’s Master Craftsman Program produced the statues, along with artist Melinda Copper.
