Oct. 10, 2008 CONTACT: FLORIDA STATE LAW AMERICAN CONSTITUTIONAL SOCIETY TO HOST SUPREME COURT PREVIEW TALLAHASSEE -- The Florida State University College of Law American Constitution Society (ACS) will host its Annual Supreme Court Preview on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 5 p.m. The event will take place in the law school rotunda. Distinguished panelists will discuss highlights of this year’s U.S. Supreme Court docket and offer their predictions for how the justices will decide. Professor Lesley Wexler will moderate the event and professors Rob Atkinson, Elizabeth Burch and Steven Gey, one of the country’s leading scholars on religious liberties and free speech, are the featured panelists. Gey will participate telephonically. “The American Constitution Society is fortunate to have the support and participation of the finest and most popular professors at Florida State Law,” said Kelly O’Donnell, president of ACS. “This year’s Supreme Court Preview will be informative and fun, thanks to our speakers.” ### |
