CONTACT: Laura Brock, (850) 645-5096 Sept. 16, 2008 FSU TRUSTEES TO MEET SEPT. 18-19 The Florida State University Board of Trustees will meet Thursday and Friday at the FSU Student Services Building. On Thursday, the Academic Affairs Committee will meet in Room 208 and the Student Affairs Committee will meet in Room 219. The Finance and Business Committee will not meet. On Friday, the full board will meet at 10 a.m. in Room 203, following a 9 a.m. presentation by a Student Affairs panel. The trustees will consider several items, including final approval of the 2008-09 budget, the creation of a new direct support organization called the College of Business Student Investment Fund and other administrative matters. Trustees also will hear updates on the university’s strategic plan and its academic reorganization study. The full Board of Trustees meeting will be held from: 10 A.M. – 12:15 P. M.
