CONTACT: Lisa Fowler, (850-644-7063; <lfowler@fsu.edu> Sept. 8, 2008 AGRICULTURE COMMISSIONER CHARLES BRONSON TO ADDRESS CONFLICT RESOLUTION CONSORTIUM AT FSU Commissioner Charles Bronson of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services will be the guest speaker at the Florida Conflict Resolution Consortium’s (FCRC) advisory council meeting on Sept. 17. The FCRC is based at Florida State University and helps find solutions to Florida’s public policy problems and community disputes by providing consensus building and conflict resolution services. Bronson will discuss “Leadership Perspectives on Consensus Building.” His talk will cover strategies for building consensus on the future of agriculture in Florida, seeking solutions to regulatory issues and reframing urban-rural divides to urban-rural connections.
